Dance photography is actually where my photography journey begins! I had danced for 8 years myself and studied my Certificate IV in dance before jumping behind the camera. I loved being able to get creative in a new way, being a dancer myself meant that I was comfortable directing and getting pictures with the correct technique!
I work in both studios and outdoor locations, loving both for different reasons! Working in with surroundings on an outdoor session is really fun - finding a new place and working with the beautiful sunset light! The studio is amazing for getting creative and grabbing the much-needed portfolio headshots. I don't have a preference - I find either really fun!
